A Message from Castle Church
OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY
On Friday 6th July the Torch will be passing through Colchester between 7.30 am – 8.15 am.  Castle is committed to serving
‘bacon butties’ in Cowdray Crescent at that time, and to providing tea and coffee and biscuits at Castle until 11.30 am.
We need volunteers to cook and serve the butties as the Torch passes by and to serve tea and coffee at Castle.
In addition, it would be good to have ‘greeters’ available to talk to people in Cowdray Crescent or to visitors who might drop
into Castle.
If you can help in any way or would like to know more about this opportunity for Christian outreach to our community please
talk to Jan or Geoff Casey on 549539 or e-mail your interest to jcasey@btinternet.com.
